My first spark of inspiration to consider homeschooling came from a book entitled:

I had one friend who homeschools her daughters back in the States but I never had the slightest idea that homeschooling may also be good for my own children, before I read this book. My husband and I have always thought Indonesia is different than the West, socialization in the country with the most number of Muslims in the world is not like in America where Muslims are a minority. However, this book opened our eyes and made us see that it's not all about avoiding western influence on our children and wanting a more religious curriculum, it's about the school system itself.
